The original owner was a collector of coins and medals from around the world. As you can see this medal comes in the box and made by Spink & Son. The medal is 2-1/4" diameter, 1/8" thick, and weighs 80 grams. We can only assume the medal has been in its box since it was received.
The bottom of the medal shows some patina and the top just a little too. The case is very nice and just beautiful with the medal. Marked on the side of the medal is SILVER. Please view all photos for a better view at contents and condition.
The photos tell the story of the medal and the box. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. If anyone has more information on this exact medal we would love to hear it. We will be happy to answer any question that you may have. We sell mostly used and vintage items.
