A Rare Queen Elizabeth II Hallmarked Sterling Silver Domed Top Butter Dish by Roberts and Belk. The Butter Dish has a height of 3 1/2" with a diameter of 5 1/2" with a substantial weight of 15.9 oz or 452 grams. The Butter Dish has an excellent design standing on a flat circular base with straight sides to the lower body and a wide outer rim that is finished with a cast shell and reeded border with the inner liner pierced and fits snugly in the lower body with a superb domed lid that is finished with a flame finial. The Butter Dish is free of any Initials or Monograms. The Butter Dish is in Excellent Condition. The Hallmarks to the base are. Makers Mark - R & B. Town Mark - Rose - Sheffield.
