We have a stunning Stuart Devlin limited edtition hallmarked silver gilt Queen's Jubilee egg commemorating Queen Elizabeth II silver jubilee. The Egg has a bark effect exterior and part enamel interior decoration.
The interior depicts a crown. The egg is dated London 197, the base is numbered 72. The height of the Egg is 7cm with the thickest diameter around the middle at 4.4cm. Stuart Leslie Devlin (9 October 1931 12 April 2018) was an Australian artist and metalworker who specialised in gold and silver. He designed coins for countries around the world, and became especially well known as London-based designer of collectors' items in the 1970s and 1980s.
