The Cream Jug has a height of 5 7/8" and 4" in length handle to spout with a diameter of 2 1/4" to the base and 2 5/8" diameter to the top rim. The Cream Jug has a substantial weight of 8.3 oz or 234 grams. The Cream Jug has an excellent shape sitting on a raised circular base with a banded shaped body and a shaped upper rim and spout with the raised "C" scrolled handle finished with a raised ball thumb piece. The Cream Jug is a faithful copy of a silver jug in the collection at Eaton College with he original made in the year 1624 and it is one of the finest remaining examples of silver of the period in which.
