Rare Irish Queen Elizabeth II Hm Sterling Silver Pedestal Bowl 1970
A Rare Irish Queen Elizabeth II Hallmarked Sterling Silver Pedestal Bowl by Royal Irish Silver. The Bowl has a diameter to the upper rim of 4 3/4" with a diameter to the base of 2 7/8"and a height to the rim of 3 1/4 and has a substantial weight of 9.9 oz or 280 grams. The Bowl sits on a stepped pedestal base with an excellent shaped centre girdled body and a scrolled upper rim with the inside of the bowl having a bright gilt interior. The Bowl is free of any Initials or Monograms. The Bowl is in Excellent Condition.
The Hallmarks to the base are. II - Royal Irish SIlver. Town Mark - Hibernia - Dublin.
Harp Crowned - Sterling Mark. Date Letter - c - 1970. With full Sheffield Assay Office Import marks for 1970.
