M Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. The plate is spun from solid sterling silver with the Royal Arms minted separately in solid sterling silver and then plated in with 2 4carat gold. The surrounding Arms engraved and the filled with 24 carat gold. The individual Coats of Arms surrounding the Royal Arms are the arms of the Earl Marshall, the College of Arms and the three Kings of Arms, plus the badges of the six Heralds of Arms and the four Pursuivants of Arms.

The solid sterling silver plate has a 24 carat golf working designed by the Royal Heralds specifically for the occasion of The Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. "The Queens Silver Jubilee 1952 -1977 - The College of Arms". The plate is number 2288 of a limited edition run of just 2500. The plate bears the Birmingham Anchor Hallamrk, lion passant, date letter "C" for the year 1977 and impressed with Her Majesty together with the makers YM for Yorkshire and the retailers mark for Danbury Mint. The plate comes mounted in a wooden case with a double sided perspex window. Supplied with the case in its protective sheath is the Original Certificate of Authenticity, and separately the original maintenance and care instructions. The display case shows some minor signs of wear and has some hanging eyelets attached to the rear along with some twine to facilitate the hanging of the case for display purposes. It is not clear if these appendages were originally supplied with the item but they have been left in place.
