Here we have a wonderful Hallmarked Sterling silver limited edition plate issued to commemorate the sate visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to the United States of America on the occasion of the 200th Anniversary of America's Declaration of Independence, signed to plate by the artist Pietro Annigoni. Fully hallmarked for London 1976 and the makers mark'R&D'. This is number 661 of a Limited Edition of 2000. The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are : 9 inches / 23 cm in diameter and 357 g. The plate is complete with box / case and certificate. It in very nice condition as can be seen from the photographs. There are odd marks to the box commensurate with age as can be seen from the photographs. The plate has age tarnish but could be polished shiny according to taste be we have chosen to leave it as is.
